Hi, I’m Andrew Smith, a.k.a. Digital Nomad Grandad, a 66 year old Englishman currently living in Warsaw, Poland. I started my tech journey as a COBOL programmer on IBM mainframes in the late 70s.

After a decade in Sales & Marketing I returned to tech with the increasing popularity of PCs. I’ve been running my own tech companies since the 90s, starting with building and maintaining PCs & networks and I have adapted to the advancements in technology through the decades since. This includes owning a white label dial-up ISP, website building and SEO, e-commerce, mobile apps and digital marketing.

Since opting for semi-retirement at 60 I’ve been travelling and teaching English online. For the last couple of years I’ve been exploring the endless possibilities of AI and recently decided to start sharing the knowledge and experience I’ve gained, not only in AI but how it interacts with all aspects of business.

However, my primary focus is on harnessing the power of AI to increase revenues and drive growth. Many companies see the benefits of AI to improve the efficiency of their businesses but my aim is to implement AI in a way that companies can see a measurable ROI right from the start.
